Steve has built Financial Architech on the foundation of expertise, discipline, and a commitment to helping others succeed. His journey into finance began in an unexpected place—the U.S. Army, where he enlisted in 1982 after a year of junior college. He embraced the challenges of Airborne and Ranger Schools and later served as a driver for the Battalion Colonel at Fort Riley, Kansas. Recognizing his potential, the Colonel offered him a scholarship to Kansas State University, but it was a conversation with a friend that would ultimately change his path. That friend saw something in Steve that he hadn't yet recognized in himself—a talent for sales and financial strategy. Introduced to the world of residential and commercial property financing, he never looked back.
Beyond his career, family is at the heart of everything Steve does. He is grateful to share his life with his wife, Toni, and their two daughters, Brittany and Jiana. Whether traveling together—with Thailand as their next big adventure—or simply enjoying time at home, family remains his greatest joy. He is also passionate about fitness and martial arts, values that reflect his lifelong dedication to discipline and self-improvement. He credits much of his personal and professional growth to his late mentor, Jim Rohn, whose philosophy, "Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change," continues to guide him. He applies that same mindset to his work, helping clients navigate financial opportunities with clarity, confidence, and a long-term vision for success.
